Key Responsibilities
- Assist with on-site setup of rental items, following design plans and direction from the Team Lead
- Support styling and placement of decor with care and attention to detail
- Help ensure all rentals are placed accurately and consistently
- Assist with teardown at the end of events, handling inventory with care
- Pack, organize, and prepare rental items so they are secure and ready for the delivery team
- Communicate any issues, missing items, or damage to the Team Lead
- Maintain a clean, organized workflow during setup and teardown
- Work collaboratively with the delivery and design teams to ensure smooth event days
Role Overview
- Strong attention to detail and care when handling rentals
- Interest or experience in events, design or styling is an asset
- Reliable, punctual and team-oriented
- Physically capable of lifting and moving rental inventory
- Comfortable taking direction and working as part of a team
- Calm, adaptable and professional in fast-paced environments
Schedule & Season
- Seasonal position (spring through fall), with the opportunity for additional work in the off-season
- Primarily weekend-based shifts, with occasional weekday work depending on event schedule
- Availability for late-night teardowns within the city and surrounding area, with an increased hourly rate
We’re seeking a Seasonal Design, Setup & Teardown Assistant to support our on-site setup and teardown team throughout the wedding season. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone detail-oriented, reliable and comfortable working in a fast-paced event environment.
You’ll work closely alongside the Design, Setup & Teardown Lead, assisting with the setup of rental items, supporting styling and placement and helping ensure everything is carefully packed and prepared for the delivery team at the end of each event.
