Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage delivery and pickup routes for events
- Safely operate company vehicles (including larger trucks, up to 26’)
- Oversee loading and unloading of rental inventory
- Ensure inventory is secured, organized, and transported with care
- Coordinate with the design/setup team on timing and logistics
- Assist with on-site setup and teardown as needed
- Perform basic vehicle checks and report any maintenance needs
- Help maintain a clean, organized warehouse and loading area
- Act as a point person for delivery-day logistics and problem-solving
Role Overview
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence with a clean driving record
- Confident driving larger vehicles and navigating tight timelines
- Previous leadership or team-lead experience preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Physically capable of lifting and moving rental inventory
- Calm, reliable, and solution-oriented under pressure
- Positive, professional attitude with a team-first mindset
Schedule & Season
- Seasonal position (spring through fall), with the opportunity for additional work in the off-season
- Primarily weekend-based shifts, with occasional weekday work depending on event schedule
- Availability for late-night pickups within the city and surrounding areas, with an increased hourly rate
We’re seeking a Seasonal Delivery Team Lead to oversee and execute delivery operations throughout the wedding season. This is a leadership-focused, hands-on role ideal for someone confident behind the wheel, organized under pressure, and comfortable taking ownership of delivery days from start to finish.
As Lead Driver, you’ll be responsible for ensuring deliveries and pickups run smoothly, inventory is handled with care, and the delivery team is supported and directed on event days.
